Won a Photo Contest at the Water Resources Research Center

Chris Yazzie Water Testing on Navajo Nation

Very excited to have won for the People Category at the Water Resources Research Center (WRRC) annual photography competition. This is a photo of Chris Yazzie water testing at a windmill we stopped at on Navajo Nation. The work that Chris is doing about water quality and cleaning water on Navajo Nation is very inspiring. Thank you, Chris, for letting me document your important work. The announcement and other photos can be seen here: https://wrrc.arizona.edu/news/photo-contest-winners-announced

If you are in Tucson there will be a Chocolate Fest 2020 at the WRRC on February 13th at 3:30. They’ll be showing the 2020 photos and they’ll be plenty of chocolate to eat. Hope to see you there!
